It also has all the features of the MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and an increasingly long list of country approvals. Note: for a short period of time this product was called MultiGrid-II. The MultiPlus-II will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.

In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.

There is no acid inside of the battery, and the small amount of liquid electrolyte is contained within each sealed cell. You can decide what is best for your application. Our lithium technology gives you the flexibility to put the battery in places you normally would not have placed a lead acid battery.
All batteries ship with 18-8 stainless steel 5/16 – 18 1” and 1 ¼” bolts, brass washers, and 18-8 stainless steel nuts with nylok inserts. Using only the highest quality materials all Battle Born Batteries are designed and assembled in Reno, NV.

*Approximately 75-80% of the battery capacity will remain after 3000 cycles in applications recharging at 0.5C or lower. We have seen life spans of well over 5000 cycles in our lab testing.* Our BB10012 uses stable LiFePO4 chemical composition in cylindrical cells and the same built-in battery management system (BMS) technology as our other products.
The BB10012 is certified for UL-2054, UL-62133 (USA and Canada, and UN38.8 Transportation Testing Certified.
